Reginald mitchell
(1959-2019) LA
Reggie Mitchell made art to express himself; his dyslexia and slight speech stammer made verbal and written communication difficult. New Orleans, where he lived most of his life (later on he moved to Brusly, LA, then Houston, TX), provided a rich variety of subject matter, be it the familiar streetcar and other tourist landmarks; he also painted images from magazines and books, of houses and room interiors.
