Dear friends,

Just a short note here: Thanks for making 2019, our twentieth year in business, our best ever (by far)! The little gallery that could, that does, that keeps on keeping on—I’m so grateful to those of you who’ve purchased something, stopped by to look around in person, or simply perused the site. It’s the connection that’s most important—between you and the art, and secondarily, between you and me; I’m much more gallerist (in this case, that means a guy with a little house full of art) than businessman—my love for this work still rules the day, over any commercial concern. And I love studying the art, and talking about it with you, whether the conversation leads to a sale or not. So don’t ever hesitate to ask a question about anything you see here.

I’m happy to say that my own 2020 is beginning with a bang—I’m heading to Manhattan tomorrow to see two exciting shows: A Different Mountain: Selected Works from the Arnett Collection at Marlborough Gallery, Chelsea, and Memory Palaces: Inside the Collection of Audrey B. Heckler at the American Folk Art Museum. I look forward to telling you all about the adventure!
